Qualification : MSc./PhD. in Fishery Science/ Marine Science/ Marine Biology/ Environmental Science or related. Master's Degree shall be in the r elevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree or for candidates with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET or equivalent qualification as mentioned in revised ICAR guidelines, PhD. degree holders are exempted from NET. Desirable Qualification : Experience in field level work, Oceanographic/ Environmental field sampling, Knowledge in Remote Sensing and GIS.
Emoluments : Rs.28,000
Age Limit : 35-40 Yrs

Project Title: Immune enhancement using sulfated polysaccharides isolated from marine algae against Mycobacterium marinum.
Eligibility: Post Graduate degree in Basic Science with NET qualification OR Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.
Desirable: Marine microbiology or Marine biotechnology with Molecular Immunology.
Emolument: Rs.25,000 (for first two years) Rs. 28,000 (for third year).
How To Apply:
The Junior research fellow position is purely temporary and Co-terminus with the project tenure. However the appointed JRF will be encouraged to enroll for Ph.D in Life Science, under the supervision of the Principal investigator for the project as per the Sathyabama University norms. The Sathyabama University authority reserves the right to relax the qualification / Eligibility for the JRF position.
